Nalanda Literature Festival being one of the Biggest Literature
Festivals across the nation doesn’t just celebrate poetry but it also
celebrates the embeded silence within the poetry which is as loud as to disect
any hurdle in the process of expressing emotions and as quiet as finding the
stillness within the emotive waves. The Poetry sessions of Nalanda literature
Festival have been the sessions of expressions, inghts and earnest discussions
while connecting poetry with the Ancient Idea of Silence embeded within its own
land of Nalanda. In her One of her poems “Nalanda ke khandahar” by “Nirmala
Garg”, she expresses that the fine touch of history was so powerful at Nalanda
that her whole body shivers there .
“ इतिहास का स्पर्श इतना सघन था वहाँ सिहर उठी थी
मेरी समूची देह “1
Silence is
deeply embedded within the philosophical doctrines of Nalanda and hence within
the poetry gatherings of Nalanda Literature Festival but Unlike the Silence in
disguise the silence of poetic gatherings at Nalanda Literature Festival is a
Symbolistic silence and deeply rooted in narrowing down the inner chaos and
recognizing the roar of expressing things. The Poetic sessions of this festival
will lead you to think within yourselves and will provide you a silent escape
to the most talkative world of emotions. None Poetry is absolute emotive it is
filled with relative emotions connecting us through this world but for that
connection one needs to settle the massive waves of thoughts and let their
inner floor of mind and heart be crystal clear. Since Nalanda has also been the
Land of Budha, “Nirmala Garg” remembers him and his doctrines on Silence in her
“Nalanda ke Khandahar “ Poem.
Poetry is
not where we always express our emotions sometimes it serves as a soft escape
to a less chaotic world or Silent World and Nalanda Literature Festival and its
Poetry Sessions are the testaments of this very Idea.
